Hugh Jackman Raw Video: Watch Hollywood Star's Knockout WWE Performance

I know what you’re thinking: How perfect is the tandem of the WWE and Hugh Jackman, and why isn’t he on the show all the time?

I’m with you here, folks.

The WWE has long been known for their integration of stars from both the sports world and the entertainment world—it helps the star promote whatever he is working on and it gives the WWE some publicity.

While most of the time seeing stars do things with the WWE feels more than forced, Jackman's bit was great because Wolverine and Dolph Ziggler had a fantastic exchange that brought out both of their wits.

Most stars would be afraid to go off script like that, but Jackman was Wolverine and, as we all know, Wolverine isn’t scared of anything.

The move to get their new prodigal son, Zack Ryder, more action and overness with the crowd meant being Jackman’s fighter for the night.

This match was Ryder’s chance to put on a great show, and that’s exactly what he and Ziggler did when they put on the best match of the night.

Things really got interesting when Ziggler’s manager Vickie Guererro slapped Ryder in the mouth and was asked to leave ringside, leaving Jackman enough time to get up on the ring apron.

Once on the side of the ring, Wolverine blasted with a big right hand that sent the dazed star into Zack Ryder who then performed his finishing move.

It was great to see Jackman slide into the ring like a wrestler and start whoo whoo whoo’n his way into the fans hearts.

Jackman may be gone, but his impact on Zack Ryder’s crowd reaction will be felt long after Jackman’s mainstream star has burnt out.
