WWE Night of Champions Results: 6 Possible Storylines for HHH After Beating Punk

Triple H won in the most controversial way last night. But as CM Punk put it, he knows the COO of the WWE is not to blame for issues Punk has with the "conspiracy" that is the WWE.

Now, there are new avenues Triple H must travel to figure out what is happening within the WWE.

We know Kevin Nash, John Laurinaitis and even his wife Stephanie McMahon are probably involved in all of this and of course, because of his history in the company, more wrestlers may come out of the stands, woodwork, or ceiling to join the "conspiracy." And yes, at some point, expect Vince McMahon to show his face again.

Here are six possible new storylines Triple H can be involved in now that Night of Champions is over.

6. He Can Go Back to Being COO

He hasn't been on the job that long.

He is still learning (like this isn't a script). And he has a temper that is loved and feared by many.

As COO, he is the enforcer the WWE needs and in effect, he does act as the General Manager and head man in charge.

And when he wants, he just jumps into the ring.

Not a bad deal.

5. He Can Face Kevin Nash at Hell in a Cell

We all want to see this.

Two legends in the ring as enemies, not as friends.

If Undertaker and Triple H can do it, why can't these two?

4. He Can Battle His Wife over Control over the WWE

At some point, all cards will be played.

Stephanie vs. Hunter.

The McMahons vs the outsider.

And the one who took her daddy's company away from him.

3. He Can Battle the "Conspiracy" with Both CM Punk and John Cena

This one has "Survivor Series" written all over it.

Triple H and his team facing off against Nash and his team?

That is coming to an arena near you.

2. He Can Hire Shawn Michaels as the Raw General Manager (Bad Move)

Somehow, I want to see this happen and then see the two of them compete against each other (Wrestlemania XXVIII).

Michaels and Triple H are best friends but that goes out the window in this case. It also leads to a theme that Michaels sides with Kevin Nash over Triple H and him getting special attention because he married the boss's daughter.

Jealousy runs deep in this business.
