Fantasy Football Week 3: WRs That Will Sizzle This Week
The dust is beginning to settle on contenders and pretenders in the fantasy world and let me give you a little advice…don’t panic.
Don’t panic that Arian Foster and Chris Johnson have failed you to this point. By the same token, keep riding the hot hand. Don’t get cute and think the top-notch production won’t keep up.
Players that have performed incredibly well in the first two weeks need to be ridden like a hot blackjack table.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are three receivers that have impressed in their first two weeks that will see similar results in Week 3:
Stevie Johnson vs. New England Patriots
The Buffalo Bills are one of the biggest surprises of the year—but Johnson isn’t. The fourth-year receiver from Kentucky has proven that last year was no fluke with 162 yards and two TDs in two weeks.
He’s the main deep threat for a suddenly very potent Bills offense. On Sunday he received an eye-popping 14 targets—among the league leaders in receivers for the entire week. That’s all you can ask for in a receiver…getting the targets and opportunity to make big plays.
The Pats secondary is the weakest part of their team and Johnson should be in for a huge game in what will likely be a track meet.
Kenny Britt vs. Denver Broncos
Britt was on the fringe of fantasy greatness last year and has broken open in two games this year.
The numbers don’t lie: 14 receptions for 271 yards and three TDs are as good as it gets to start the season.
The issue with Britt going into the season didn’t even have to do with Britt—it involved his QB.
Through two games Matt Hasselbeck has proven he still has a solid season left in the tank and he clearly feels more than comfortable throwing to Britt.
The Broncos secondary is banged up as Pro Bowl corner Champ Bailey remains questionable, as does top pass-rusher Elvis Dumervil.
It’s going to be another huge week for the second-leading receiver in the NFL.
Mike Wallace @ Indianapolis Colts
The 6'0", 200-pound speedster has two 100-yard games under his belt and his team’s offense hasn’t even been very productive.
Wallace has accumulated 20 targets to this point and there is no reason to think he won’t continue to get 10 balls a game thrown in his direction as QB Ben Roethlisberger’s No. 1 target.
The Colts secondary is short on depth this season and look to be affected by the devastation that comes with losing your franchise player.
Wallace looks like one of the more consistent bets on a week-in-week-out basis to reach the 100-yard barrier.
Expect a huge game against the Colts.
