Fantasy Football Week 2 Injury Report: 5 Players Too Risky to Start
The last thing you want to see on your fantasy team is a player who never participated in the game.
Fantasy Football is a game that can be decided by the slightest of margins. You need every possible point every week.
That is why you must think deeply about these five players. These players either won't play or will give you little production because of their previous injuries.
You can find the complete injury report on ESPN.
No 5: Arian Foster
1 of 5Arian Foster is a risk because you don't know how much production he will give you. Ben Tate looks to share some of the load as well.
Depending on what you believe you need production wise, Foster may not be the greatest move for your team.
Foster could put up big numbers if you really feel he would get the majority of the carries. Be aware that one wrong move and he could be done for the day.
Foster is too much of a risk to gamble on.
No 4: Steven Jackson
2 of 5Steven Jackson is an injury waiting to happen. When healthy, Jackson is one of the best running backs in the National Football League.
That hasn't happened too often recently.
He was injured early against the Philadelphia Eagles with a quadriceps injury. He is questionable for Monday Night Football against the New York Giants.
If he does play, how long will he be in the game? Is he a player you can count on?
Absolutely not. Stay away from starting Jackson unless he's your only option.
No 3: Michael Crabtree
3 of 5Michael Crabtree is questionable with a foot injury.
Unless you don't have another receiver ready to fill the void, bench Crabtree as soon as possible.
The last thing fantasy owners want is to see a donut at the wide receiver position. It is always better to be cautious.
No 2: Danny Amendola
4 of 5Danny Amendola is listed as doubtful for Monday Night Football against the New York Giants.
The word doubtful is where you definitely draw the line on players. If they are questionable, there is about a 50 percent chance of him playing. Doubtful places those odds much slimmer.
Amendola probably won't be in action on Monday night. It would be best if you find your replacement now before it is too late.
No 1: Dez Bryant
5 of 5It is looking more apparent that Dez Bryant won't play against the San Francisco 49ers. He is listed as questionable, but his quad hasn't shown the necessary improvement that would grant a confident start from fantasy owners.
It would be a good move to find another receiver to replace Bryant for Week 2 in fantasy football. If you have another receiver who plays in the late games, go ahead and make your decision at 3:30 if you are allowed to do so.
