WWE Night of Champions: HBK's Latest Tweet Suggests Involvement This Sunday
About one hour ago as of this writing, Shawn Michaels, WWE Hall of Famer, tweeted the following: "Begrudgingly finished my workout, off 2 WWE Land 2 do heaven knows what w/HHH. Guess I'll find out when I get there. Luv last minute stuff!!"
In what would make sense from a storyline standpoint, and it seems very possible based on his tweet that Shawn Michaels will involve himself at the Night of Champions PPV. It is no secret that WWE often operates on a day-to-day basis, and this sudden reaching out to Shawn Michaels falls directly in line with their way of doing things.

The question is, to what degree, if Shawn Michaels appears at all this Sunday, can we expect his participation? Will he unite with HHH, and perhaps even Kevin Nash, to reform one of wrestling's most feared backstage power brokers in the "Kliq." And if such is the case, maybe he will be revealed to be the one responsible for cutting CM Punk's microphone this past Monday night on RAW? Or, will he, in a surprising turn of events, align himself with CM Punk's crusade for change?
Nonetheless, the power of social networking—punctuated by WWE Superstars' accessibility to fans, in this instance, with Shawn Michaels—has added a new wrinkle and an intriguing element to be discussed and bandied back and forth between members of the "WWE Universe."
No matter the involvement, however, it is safe to say that, beyond a "superkick" or two, he won't be returning to in-ring action any time soon, if ever. Unlike his peers, who swear retirement only to return over and over again, Shawn Michaels, backed by his faith, has been very adamant about staying retired.
That being said, he can plausibly return to a semi-permanent on-air role, playing an integral figure in the CM Punk-Triple H storyline, which has fizzled out in recent weeks, not doing CM Punk's momentum toward the top echelon any favors.
Would you, Bleacher Report reader, like to see Shawn Michaels interject himself in the HHH-Punk storyline this Sunday, and if so, in what capacity and to what end?
Obviously, it's not confirmed at this point, but if Shawn Michaels' revealing tweet is any indication, we may just see the "Showstopper" steal the show once again at WWE Night of Champions.
