NFL Power Rankings Week 2: Which Teams Can Only Get Better from Here?
The Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts looked absolutely awful in their Week 1 losses, and both teams can only improve from where they currently sit.
After winning the AFC West in 2010, the spanking the Chiefs got from the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 was completely out of nowhere. The offense (213 total yards) looked terrible, and the defense couldn't stop a Bills team with no real offensive weapons to speak of.
There is no way Matt Cassel will be as bad as he was in Week 1 the rest of the season. Cassel completed 22-of-36 passes for just 119 yards, with one touchdown and an interception. He can't really be that bad. Meanwhile, running back Jamaal Charles will need to do more than his opening week tally of 10 carries for 56 yards. The Chiefs have to get the ball into his hands and find ways to get Dwayne Bowe more than two catches for 17 yards.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If the Chiefs get the ball to their playmakers, they are bound to look more like the team that went 10-6 last year, not the one who got spanked 41-7 by a mediocre-at-best Bills team in Week 1.
The Indianapolis Colts looked so bad in their 34-7 Week 1 loss to the Houston Texans that there is only room for improvement. Veteran Kerry Collins won't be Peyton Manning, but you have to think he'll be able to outplay his opening week performance. Collins completed just 16-of-31 throws for 197 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. But he did lose two fumbles.
Collins has Pro Bowl players at his disposal in receiver Reggie Wayne and tight end Dallas Clark, which means even if he is average, the veteran quarterback should at least be able to get them the ball.
The Colts can only improve along the offensive line, as they paved the way for just 64 rushing yards while allowing Collins to get sacked seven times.
Indianapolis will improve as the offense gets used to playing together. Losing Manning was a huge blow, and getting blasted by the Texans didn't help matters. But this weekend against the Browns they could start to turn things around.
