Week 1 of the regular season produced some rather definitive wins, some unexpected blowouts and some surprising performances.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Cleveland at Indianapolis
Normally, a betting man would see this as the easiest pick of the week.
But Peyton Manning will be watching this game instead of playing it, making the Browns the favorite.
Colt McCoy looked solid in Week 1 and their defense was decent. The Colts are a hot mess without Manning and their defense can't keep up.
While Josh Cribbs is no Andre Johnson, look for him to get lots of catches.
Final Score: Cleveland 21, Indianapolis 10
Chicago at New Orleans:
New Orleans stood toe to toe with the Packers last Thursday, with Drew Brees throwing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns.
If he can connect with Devery Henderson like he did in that game, the Bears are done for.
Jay Cutler will have to match Brees play for play if they want to get the win.
His performance against the Falcons was solid, but he's going to need better production form his receivers.
Final Score: New Orleans 41, Chicago 31
Other games of note:
Oakland at Buffalo:
If any team surprised anyone last week, it was the Buffalo Bills. Putting 41 points on a lackadaisical Chiefs team was not expected.
Oakland had a similar experience with the turnover-laden Broncos. If FitzMagic can happen again, the Bills will seal this one up early.
Final Score: Buffalo 24, Oakland 10
Kansas City at Detroit:
KC started the season with a fumble. If one were to believe in omens, that would be a bad one.
They looked terrible in all facets of the game against the Bills, and this week they have to contend with "Megatron" Calvin Johnson, Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley.
Final Score: Detroit 31, Kansas City 7
San Diego at New England:
Tom Brady is a monster. His arm is tireless and his vision is crystal clear.
It's hard to get him out of the zone once he's in one, and this will be the number one priority for the Chargers defense.
Pressure Brady early and often, keep the underneath passes to a minimum, and protect the deep ball. Oh, and Phillip Rivers will have to put up MVP numbers.
Easy, right?
Final Score: New England 38, San Diego 21
Philadelphia at Atlanta:
Michael Vick returns to Atlanta coming off the best season of his career. He looked great in the season opener, using his arm and his legs.
The Falcons were sloppy and uninspired against the Bears.
"I told you so" rights are Vick's to collect in this one.
Final Score: Philadelphia 34, Atlanta 17
