Philadelphia Eagles vs Atlanta Falcons: TV Info, Over/Under, Spread, Predictions
Week 2 features what is undoubtedly the game of the year to this point, both in terms of hype and on-field play, as Michael Vick makes his return to the Georgia Dome as quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles to take on the team that drafted him, the Atlanta Falcons.
Vick likely won't receive as negative of a response from the Falcon faithful as he probably would have had this game been played two years ago. Falcons fans have largely moved on thanks to the ever-improving play of quarterback Matt Ryan, but there is sure to still be some bad blood with Vick playing far better as an Eagle than he ever did as a Falcon.

While Vick while be the overarching storyline, there is still plenty to be excited about in this matchup. Both teams have among the league's most explosive offenses, and playing on the Georgia Dome's fast track could help produce a shootout of epic proportions.
There is plenty on the line for both teams as the1-0 Eagles look to prove that they're the cream of the crop in the NFC, while the 0-1 Falcons will try to even their record and show that their 13-3 showing in 2010 was no accident.

Prediction
After a Week 1 thrashing at the hands of the Chicago Bears, the Atlanta Falcons will enter Sunday night's game in desperate need of a win. It won't be easy, however, as the Philadelphia Eagles look to have become one of the league's elite teams thanks to their plentiful offseason additions.
The Eagles proved that they belong in that conversation when they dominated the St. Louis Rams on both sides of the ball. The emotion of Vick making his return to Atlanta should make this game even more intriguing than it already is.
Both teams feature very complete offenses, but Atlanta's defense is fairly questionable, particularly against the pass. Much-maligned Bears signal caller Jay Cutler had a field day against them in Week 1 as he piled up 312 yards through the air and two touchdowns.
Vick and his brilliant receiving corps, headlined by DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, will certainly look to take advantage of that. While we've only seen one week of Philadelphia's revamped defense, it appears to be much improved.Trent Cole and Jason Babin provide a stellar pass rush while cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is a huge upgrade in the secondary.
Matt Ryan and the Atlanta passing game will likely be slowed down by Asomugha's presence just like the Rams were last week. Asomugha will draw the tough assignment of locking down All-Pro receiver Roddy White. Asomugha has proven in the past that he can cover the league's best, so if he holds up as usual, it will be the difference in the game as Atlanta will have fewer offensive options to work with.
The Eagles win a 31-27 thriller and move to 2-0, while the Falcons, who went 13-3 a year ago, fall to 0-2 and enter Week 3 in a virtual must-win situation.
