WWE Night of Champions 2011: 3 Surprise Storylines Following Night of Champions
With the 2011 Night of Champions just a few days away, the WWE will be looking to start the push towards WrestleMania by getting major storylines rolling.
As with everything else the WWE does, there is no guarantee that they will follow through with these ideas, but these could be the biggest plots coming out of one of the worst PPVs WWE puts on every year.
While Night of Champions is on a collision course with suck, there is still hope that the mediocre PPV can breed a better group of storylines.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
nWo—Just imagine the Triple H and CM Punk No Disqualification match carrying into its 20th minute, when the lights go out. Then as everyone is looking around puzzled, the nWo music hits and Kevin Nash enters the ring to screw over…
Triple H?
That’s right. By smashing Triple H in the head with the microphone, CM Punk revealed himself as the heel in this matchup. This appears to be a work between Punk and Nash and they will form the new nWo.
Mark Henry as World Champion—As much as we all know that WWE has a love affair with Randy Orton, there is no way that he walks out of the Night of Champions with the World Title after the push the company has given Mark Henry.
Henry has been working with the WWE for 15 years now, and the fact that he hasn’t gotten a title yet, as well as the fact that the company has been making him look like such a strong heel, lends itself to a title, albeit a short one.
Alberto Del Rio Beating John Cena Clean—John Cena is in the WWE title picture, so the WWE will find it much easier to let Alberto Del Rio retain the title clean at a minor PPV if it further puts Del Rio over as a bigger heel.
Del Rio has a wonderful chance to get over with the crowd if John Cena helps him, and there is no better way to make him an even stronger heel than by letting him beat Cena clean and showing that Del Rio deserves the belt.
