Fantasy Football Week 1 Rankings: 3 Waiver-Wire Players with Most Potential
Fantasy football waiver-wire domination is the fastest way to dominating your league. Pick up the right players at the right time and you are set for a championship season.
The key is identifying the right players.
A lot of this comes down to injuries. Injuries elevate backups into more prominent roles as the season goes on, but that is certainly not the only way. There are some players that are just going to get hot and play themselves into more prominent roles.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The following three players have the potential to turn in bigger returns as the season goes on.
Michael Bush, Oakland Raiders
The Raiders are a run-first team. They were second in the NFL in rushing in 2010 and appear on track to dominate on the ground again.
Michael Bush is going to score his share of fantasy points.
Bush showed up to camp in the best shape of his career. He looked like an absolute beast in the preseason. While he is unlikely to unseat Darren McFadden as the starter, he will definitely get his touches.
Bush is often used in goal-line situations and picks up touchdowns. He is a solid receiver.
Most importantly, McFadden is unlikely to play a full season. He has always struggled with injuries. When McFadden is out with injury, Bush instantly becomes a top-10 back.
Emanuel Sanders, Pittsburgh Steelers
Emanuel Sanders is finally healthy and looking good. He has big-play potential every time he gets his hands on the ball. While he certainly won't be a focal point of the offense to start the season, his role is likely to grow as the season goes on.
The Steelers are becoming more and more of a passing team. This means plenty of targets for their receivers. As Sanders gets more comfortable with Ben Roethlisberger, his role is going to grow and his stats will increase.
Ronnie Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
Ronnie Brown is in a very similar situation as Michael Bush. He is not going to be the starter and won't be unless something happens to LeSean McCoy.
This, of course, is a very real possibility.
In the meantime, Brown will still get his touches. He still has plenty left in the tank, and when he is healthy, he produces.
While he may not get a bunch of touches while McCoy is healthy, he should still get some solid action in goal-line situations, and this leads to fantasy points.
