Fantasy Football Sleepers: 10 Players Who Will Win You Your PPR League
It’s fantasy football draft time boys and girls, and if you want to win your PPR league, it’s time to batten down the hatches and get serious with your sleepers.
As with every draft, there will always be one person who picks people way too early, but if you can avoid having your players being taken by this monster, you’ll be alright.
For the rest of us who were aiming for Tampa Bay’s Mike Williams but was taken in the second round, you will need sleepers to fill in those spots later in the draft.
The following slideshow gives you the key players for your successful run at the fantasy football championship of 2011.
Good luck to all, unless you’re in my league.

10. Lee Evans, WR (Baltimore Ravens)
1 of 10While Lee Evans hasn’t lit the world on fire the last three years, it’s more a product of the Buffalo Bills’ stagnant offense and not Evan’s skill set.
Evans played in only 13 games last season, managing only 37 catches for fewer than 600 yards and just four touchdowns.
Since being traded to the Baltimore Ravens, he has found his niche, and in his first game with the new team, Evans caught three balls for 60 yards and a touchdown.
9. Roy Williams, WR (Chicago Bears)
2 of 10Last season—and the past four seasons, for that matter—haven’t been great to wide receiver Roy Williams, and the departure from the Dallas Cowboys was the best thing for him as a man.
Williams had his best season with offensive coordinator Mike Martz in Detroit in 2006-2007, and now Williams reunites with Martz on the Chicago Bears’ roster.
Most fans know Williams won’t return to that previous form, but there is still hope he will become the red-zone weapon for Jay Cutler.
8. Shonn Greene, RB (New York Jets)
3 of 10While many experts thought last year would be the breakout season for the New York Jets running back, this will be the season the Jets give the bulk of the load to Shonn Greene.
With the age and deteriorating talent of LaDainian Tomlinson, Greene will be the top back because of earning the job and necessity.
Look for 200-plus rushes for Greene with some added-in receptions, but that number may go up with the possibility of LT injuries.
7. Braylon Edwards, WR (San Francisco 49ers)
4 of 10Wide receiver Braylon Edwards may still have no quarterback to throw him the ball in San Francisco, but he will have a bigger opportunity to shine as the No. 1 receiver with the 49ers.
Since Edwards' breakout season with the Cleveland Browns in 2008, he hasn’t returned to that form, but he has shown glimpses of what he can really do. The 49ers will have no choice but to throw the ball a ton, so expect at least 60 receptions with at least 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns.
6. Fred Jackson, RB (Buffalo Bills)
5 of 10With C.J. Spiller not amounting to what the Buffalo Bills thought they would be getting out of him, the majority of the workload will fall on the shoulders of Fred Jackson.
Jackson will be in for the majority of the carries, and his hands are good enough to be a possibility in the passing game as well.
If the Bills' offensive line can hold up, Jackson could be looking at a season with 200-plus rushes and 40-plus receptions, making him a fantasy stud.
5. Plaxico Burress, WR (New York Jets)
6 of 10While Plaxico Burress was a fantasy juggernaut before going away to prison, there have been serious questions about whether or not he can return to that form.
Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is terrible, but he is good enough to put the ball up where 6'5" Burress can get it, especially in the end zone.
Burress will manage at least 50 catches and, more importantly, at least 12 touchdowns. With numbers like that, Burress will be a stellar late-round steal.
4. Santana Moss, WR (Washington Redskins)
7 of 10Quietly, Santana Moss of the Washington Redskins had an amazing PPR fantasy season last year, amassing 93 total catches.
Yes, Moss had 93 catches last season and added more than 1,100 receiving yards with six touchdowns to make his season amazing for any owner.
With a lack of hoopla over him before the draft, expect Moss to drop in your draft and fall into your lap.
3. Felix Jones, RB (Dallas Cowboys)
8 of 10With the return of Tony Romo as the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, expect a heavy dose of running back Felix Jones.
Jones saw almost 50 receptions to go with his almost 200 carries, but the departure of running back Marion Barber means an increased workload.
This season could be Jones’ opportunity to show the fantasy world he is top-10 running back good, and if they believe that now, watch who wins your PPR league for you.
2. Stevie Johnson, WR (Buffalo Bills)
9 of 10While the Buffalo Bills are one of the worst offenses in the NFL, there will always be opportunities for Stevie Johnson to make an impact on the game.
With the departure of No. 2 receiver Lee Evans, Johnson will draw more coverage, but he has the talent to work around it and capitalize on the increased workload.
Look for the talented receiver to build upon and increase his 82 receptions for more than 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns with a similar performance.
1. LeGarrette Blount, RB (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
10 of 10After earning his way onto the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' team through his hard work, LeGarrette Blount has become the workhorse for the team.
With an offseason to assess how the team uses the back and the departure of Cadillac Williams, expect Blount to get the majority of carries and start catching more passes out of the backfield.
As a fantasy owner, I would expect 250 carries out of the backfield and at least 25 receptions for a total of at least 10 touchdowns.
