Derek Jeter is a single man.
Today many men and women are either mourning or rejoicing about the breakup of the star couple that was Jeter and Minka Kelly.
Once thought to be getting married, these mega millionaires have called it quits.
Celebrities and athletes have long been linked to one another, but more times than not it never works out. There were high hopes for these two, but sadly they did not make it.
They claim they will still be friends, and we all know neither one will have a hard time finding a significant other again.

Baseball Isn't the Only Sport She'll Watch

The Yankees didn't make the playoffs at this point in 2008, so Jeter had plenty of time to get acquainted with his new woman. Kelly was in Texas filming her television show Friday Night Lights, and she took time out to watch some football with her new man.
Vacation Getaway

Here, the couple was spotted on a tropical vacation in St. Barts. A trip in paradise was caught on camera and published in the New York Post. A wonderful moment together for the couple, and the whole world can see it. Talk about a great way to spend a vacation.
Next time Jeter wants to have a vacation getaway in the offseason, who will he take? Nobody knows that now, but the paparazzi are bound to find out.
Joyful Celebration

She doesn't know much about baseball, but she gladly joined him here in a New York parade celebrating the Yankees' historical win.

For Kelly, she'll warp up the final touches for Charlie's Angels, which will air Thursday, September 22, the 35th anniversary of the original TV show.
She's a beautiful woman, and she shouldn't have any problem finding another man. Whoever she dates next will have a tough act to follow though. Most of the women Jeter dates go on to find love again, but it's never with anyone as big a star as he is.
