Aqib Talib sat face to face with the commish on Tuesday.
He wasn't there for crumpets and tea.
Yeah, that commish—Goodell as in Roger, NFL boss.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There is a good chance that Talib will be suspended for multiple games to start this season but on Tuesday, Raheem Morris was unfazed as he faced the possibility of opening the regular season without his starting corner.
"Next man up," Morris said without hesitation during his afternoon press conference at One Buccaneer Place carried live on 620 WDAE. "We've done that before. Kinda early to say who it's gonna be," Morris said as the preseason competition between the corners continue as Myron Lewis prepares for his first action while E.J. Biggers and Elbert Mack settle into their part of the competition.
"It's like an injury," Morris said, sounding as if he's already resigned himself to some sort of suspense of Talib by Goodell. "For me, it's next man up. We've done that before. Don't even blink," Morris said rapidly.
Talib is not doubt viewed by the league as a repeat offender. He made himself known at his rookie symposium, getting into a fight with another player.
Talib's cabbie-punching incident is well documented.
Now there's the gun-wielding assault charges from his escapades in Dallas.
Add 'em up and no doubt the commish had all the patience of a pissed-off high school principal.
Length of suspension? It would be six games reduced to four. But you can bet there will be games without Talib.
There were no crumpets and tea on Tuesday.
