Gina Carano, Reby Sky and the Top 10 Women WWE Must Hire Today
Now, I'm a guy. I think this is pretty much implied by now; however, I would like to make this point known. I say this, because it's pretty much known that my gender is mainly attracted to women. Therefore, to keep from being called another sexist pig by the B/R Nation's female audience, I would like to let them know that while pictures of the many gorgeous women will be in here, facts about why they should be in WWE will also be in.
Thank you to my female readers and you're welcome to the male ones.
There is no ranking system here, just wanting to keep you in the number loop. So, don't think of the top 10 in any order here. I know some aren't going to see this part and go through the article and say certain girls need to be in a certain place. But hey, you were at least warned, right?
In any case, here is my list of the top 10 women WWE should go after.
#10- Mary Castro
1 of 11For those that don't know, Mary Castro is a very interesting person and one WWE would most def take a chance on. She has the face of a WWE Diva, which makes her marketable and that is all WWE wants out of anyone is marketability. For it to come in a woman is a very good thing.
Mary has had some acting credits and while she usually plays a stripper in everything she does (you can understand why) she is getting roles which do not require that type of thing. She has Indy movie credits too and is a very well known Fitness Model.
This means she is in very good shape and WWE would want to look at her.
I wish her the best of luck in all she does!
#9- Ashley Lawrence
2 of 11Ashley Lawrence, nicknamed Fembomb by her fans, is known for being a backyard wrestling babe with the Howard Stern show. And while this may not be something that fits in well with WWE's PG world nowadays, the fact that she does know the world of wrestling is a big deal.
Lawrence also has been fit for years and is currently a fitness model. And while she may get the best out of life, she is in very good shape and could be a big-time presence if WWE ever wanted to get edgier.
She hasn't done Playboy like some women have who were hired by WWE and were seen during the PG era. But, she does have certain pics online that may keep WWE from hiring her.
However, with the large online audience she has, WWE may think twice about hiring her. If she is not hired as a Diva, an on air character in some way wouldn't be out of line.
#8- Carmen Garcia
3 of 11Garcia is one of the most sought after fitness models in the world today. She has been in multiple issues in American magazines for fitness and is actually a model and spokeswoman for her own line of sportswear for women.
She is from Spain, and seeing how WWE is always looking to improve the Hispanic Audience vote, there would be no way you'd want to leave her out of the discussion for potential jobs. She is very popular in that community, and her popularity around the world continues to grow.
With all that said, she probably gets a look from WWE more than once.
#7- Jennifer England
4 of 11England is not known in the model world as well as she should be. She's actually a model turned actress. How unique, eh?
She's actually been a stunt double for the movie Dodgeball as well as Smokin' Aces. Most of her roles in movies or TV shows include her in a bikini. Most men seem to be OK with it.
She can talk and act relatively well. The reason most hire her is because of her good looks and fitness, along with the fact that she can take punishment and be ok with it.
I think WWE would be a pretty good fit for her, if anything.
#6- Jennifer Nicole Lee
5 of 11Lee is one of those rags to riches stories you love to hear about. Get this, an out of shape mom decides one day to work at losing weight. So, she does. Ends up losing 70 lbs and is now one of the top girls in fitness. She is credited with having 6 top-selling fitness DVDs. Which she also happens to host.
Most girls in WWE have to be fit, and they have to be willing to work at doing this. Very few women truly like committing to a strict schedule to make themselves look the way they look for a long period of time. Lee however, never wants to go back to the look she once had.
WWE would def want to bank off of her success and bring her in. I think if anyone could fit the WWE mold it would be Jennifer Nicole Lee. She is one heck of a model and she has the ability to talk. In WWE, that's really two things that help you qualify.
#5- Chellss
6 of 11Chellss happens to be a Dutch model, and one who is clearly ready to break out of the modeling world. She has won a number of modeling competitions across the world and is truly a person WWE should tune into right now.
The big thing when it comes to her is, she is a "black beauty". These girls are few and far between on WWE TV. Which is sad, but very true. While she is Dutch, and not considered the best at English, she can easily be eye candy for the men out there.
Add in the fact that she is ripped and could easily pick up wrestling, and you have a girl ready to break out into the wrestling scene in the US.
WWE would be smart to pick her up now while she is still hot, because you know if she goes "super," there is no going back.
#4 Sara Del Rey
7 of 11This next girl is an easy one for me to talk about, considering she is seen as the legit best female wrestler in the world today by many wrestling journalists.
Most journalists called for WWE to pick her up when Kharma announced she would be leaving to have her first child. But, WWE has decided against it for some reason. It could be that Del Rey is under contract, or she just simply doesn't want to go to WWE.
Whatever the reason is, I feel she belongs in a place that would let her be seen by the world. Also, if she were to come in, I'm sure the female matches would be taken seriously and not seen as one of those "attraction" matches, where they are just put into the show randomly to shift things around.
Del Rey may not fit the perfect WWE Diva look or system, but she is very deserving and being considered one of the top in your profession is not a joke by any means.
#3 Reby Sky
8 of 11While Reby is signed to Lucha Libre USA, I highly doubt this will last. This promotion doesn't seem to really be going anywhere massively strong. I see it lasting a few years, then fizzling out here in America. Therefore, while Reby may have signed on with them for a little longer, I don't see her being bound to that deal.
As a result, she could go to WWE.
Now, Reby is one of those girls who fits the WWE Diva mold perfectly. But, the difference is that she actually can perform. She has been taught my Matt Hardy, who, let's face it, may be a bit out there nowadays but always was considered a terrific wrestler.
So, being taught by him is a big deal.
Then add in her experience in wrestling, the fact that she knows it and can actually be seen as a girl with some brains for wrestling.
This is a big deal to WWE, so, I'd see Reby as a top candidate for WWE. They already offered her a deal, but she turned it down due to Lucha Libre USA. Once this goes down, I highly doubt anything will stop her from going to WWE. Unless some version one character says something
#2 Danielle Moinet
9 of 11While she may just look like another pretty face, that's not all that comes with Danielle Moinet.
I had the pleasure of getting an interview with Danielle a few months back, and I randomly threw in a question about WWE. I asked if she would ever want to go to WWE and she was very big on wanting to do so.
As a result, I could see her in WWE one day.
A little background on Danielle. She is best known from the LFL (Lingerie Football League). In this league, she was known for clotheslining and bodyslamming girls. Ouch!
She was one of the faces of the LFL for years, and did a ton of PR stuff. Divas do this more than most care to, so her outside the ring contributions would be good. And this means she can "talk"—a very big thing in WWE these days.
She has also done modeling, and been athletic all of her life.
Then add that she went to the same school as Vince McMahon, ECU. Can we really come up with a more perfect girl for WWE?
#1- Gina Carano
10 of 11I've always been a fan of Gina Carano.
I really watched Strikeforce for her. But you didn't hear that from me!
When I dream up the perfect girl, that girl comes out to be Ms. Carano. I don't know what it is, but, everything is great about her. Please never change Gina.
As many know by now, Strikeforce was bought by Zuffa, the owner of UFC. So, most see it as a UFC buys Strikeforce type of thing.
In any case, the purchase pretty much meant that the female division of Strikeforce would be gone unless UFC wanted to bring it in. Which, they do not. Could make some money Dana, just sayin'.
Anyway, Carano was a top name in the female MMA world for some time. She was undefeated for a while until she went up against Cyborg. She lost, and never became the Women's Champ in Strikeforce, but should could easily get the gold in WWE.
She has the look, and the skill to transition over into WWE.
She has some acting experience, as well as modeling and PR experience. She is most notably known as "Crush" from the revamped American Gladiator series. This show lasted only a few years, but it quickly shot her to the top and every company in MMA that had a female division seemed to want her in. Strikeforce got to keep her all to themselves and she became one of the faces of the entire company.
With her size, look, and overall experience, there is no one more ready to make the jump to WWE than Gina Carano.
WWE obviously would be stupid not to even think about bringing her in. Imagine the money and fans Carano would bring in with her. Yeah Vinny Mac, it's all about the moooooonnnnaaaayyyy
Thanks for Viewing
11 of 11Thank you all for checking out the list. What did you think? Possibly too model heavy?
Is there anyone you would want to see as a new WWE Diva?
If you would like, create your own list and show it to the world in the comment section.
It could be any female under the sun. You just have to let me know below!
