Rey Mysterio out of Action, Requires Immediate Surgery

WWE.com broke this story not too long ago. Rey Mysterio who was obviously injured, will now be out of action indefinitely. From the WWE.com report:

Former World Champion Rey Mysterio confirmed on his Twitter account today that he will require immediate surgery after sustaining an in-ring injury.

"

This comes as no surprise to some as Mysterio had obviously been nursing the injury during matches. Over the past few weeks, and including SummerSlam, Mysterio was put in tag team matches to help protect himself.

This comes at a bad time for Mysterio as there was a possibility of him working a feud with Alberto Del Rio. The attack after their main event match on Raw last week may have been to help sell this injury and storyline.

This is a major blow for the WWE as Mysterio is an organization star and was scheduled to feud with ADR during the WWE's tour of Mexico.
