The Miz Being De-Pushed in the WWE Is Good for Him
In case you haven't been paying attention to WWE the past few months, it seems as if former champion The Miz has been lost in the shuffle as of late.
The man who defeated John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 27 back in April. The guy holding his own on the mic against The Rock earlier this year. Yes, that guy.
Most have said he is being 'de-pushed' or perhaps 'punished' in some ways. I see nothing of the kind. The man is more valuable to the company now than he was the past 12 months.

I am not the only one to see it this way. Check out this report talking about The Miz and his recent actions on WWE Raw. To sum it up, Vince McMahon is loving The Miz's role right now and intends to push him even harder in the months to come.
That report is my exact thoughts right now. He doesn't need to be doing anything right now. He put over Riley as much as he possibly could. He had a nice little feud with Rey that could be picked back up at any time over the next few months.
Before that, he was the WWE champion for six months, headlined PPV show after PPV show, was in your face 24/7 and appeared on every talk show under the sun.
The man is simply cooling off. When you have such a hot year or so and have been on top of the world, the only place left is down.
Right now it is not a matter or being in 'trouble' or the infamous term, being 'buried'. No.
The Miz is a company man that has done everything in his power this past year to get his name and the WWE into the spotlight, get one million PPV purchases for WrestleMania and breathe some life into the business, both currently and long into the future.
Why? Because he's The Miz, and he's awesome.
