WWE Raw Preview: August 15th, 2011: Rey's Title Match, Triple H? Kevin Nash?
I have been covering the WWE Raw ratings for awhile now, and I seem to notice trends and whatnot. If the numbers do not go up for tonight's show, I will be left speechless.
Yes, preseason NFL football is back on tonight, and yes, other new shows are on as well, but WWE had a MAJOR ending to their second biggest show of the year last night. A legend returned in shocking fashion, a new WWE champion, Cena screwed, and a hometown championship match for Mysterio tonight!
If the numbers do not move, this fall for Raw numbers will be even worse than expected.

However, I do expect them to jump, and here is why: Tonight is a MUST SEE show. We all talk about the shows in 2010 or 2011 and how that "feeling" isn't always there when watching WWE.
Well, the past month or two (and the Mania build) have been on fire, and tonight will be no different.
Here is the lineup/preview for tonight's Raw telecast on the USA Network.
-Fallout from SummerSlam: I touched on this one a little bit above. How many questions do we need answered after last night? Maybe not all of them tonight, but trust me—we need answers from WWE!
Is Nash back full-time? Del Rio's bodyguard could be Big Kev, since Brodus seems to be on Superstars duty? Did Triple H really NOT see Cena's foot on the ropes? Was Steph the one who seemingly "hired a hit" on Punk?
Is Nash the Raw GM? How will Cena react? What about Punk and his rematch clause? Add all that in, and you still have the women, and the mid-card matches.
-Rey vs. Del Rio vs. the WWE title: This has been lost in the shuffle, but Rey is getting his title match tonight in his hometown. I doubt many are picking Rey to win here, but boy will this match be hot.
Del Rio will likely go over here and retain. Maybe "take Rey out" and let his knees heal up? Perhaps Nash can "lawn dart" Rey Rey again for old times sake?
With all of that going down tonight, there is no way you can miss tonight's show. Even if all those things happen, who is to say ANOTHER surprise may not occur tonight?
Hey, you never know how Raw could go down tonight. Nobody predicted Nash would return at SummerSlam. Who's to say another shocking moment isn't in the works?
