WWE SummerSlam Video: Watch Former WWE Star Jackknife CM Punk's New Title Away

CM Punk’s popularity was as high as it has ever been, but it all came crashing down last night at SummerSlam.

Literally.

Punk had just won the WWE title by beating John Cena in a title unification match that featured Triple H as the special guest referee.

Many fans thought that it would be Triple H that interfered with the match, but surprisingly, he was very fair throughout the whole match and called it right down the middle.

Of course the WWE infused a Cena angle because of his foot on the ropes, but after all was said and done, the match ended with little controversy, and that is where the video starts off.

Punk is celebrating his victory and feeling satisfied with his accomplishments, but someone comes through the crowd and stands behind Punk, ready to attack.

That person? None other than Big Sexy himself, Kevin Nash.

Nash then elbows Punk and delivers his infamous Jackknife powerbomb to put the new champion out for good. With Punk knocked out, Nash makes his way for the exit while Triple H looks on, stunned.

With Punk out cold in the ring, Money in the Bank briefcase winner Alberto Del Rio runs to the ring with a referee and cashes in his title shot contract. With a kick to Punk’s head, Del Rio stole the belt and walked out of SummerSlam as the  WWE champion.

To say the show had a wild finish would be a gross understatement. That makes two stellar WWE PPVs in a row. Wow!
