WWE SummerSlam Results: 4 Possible Reasons Kevin Nash Screwed CM Punk

Unless you missed tonight's pay-per-view, were logged off Twitter, or were sleeping, a lot changed in a matter of minutes for the WWE Universe.

C.M. Punk was victorious over John Cena in the Main Event in semi-controversial fashion–Cena had his foot on the bottom rope and referee Triple H failed to see it when counting the pin fall.

The new champion celebrated for mere moments before being Jackknifed to hell by "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash.

Why did Nash do this?

Here are a few reasons why Nash could have gotten involved.

1) Stephanie McMahon Ordered Nash to Get Involved

Triple H may be the COO of WWE, but Stephanie McMahon is still the Billion Dollar Princess. She has a lot of pull in WWE as a high ranking executive and has "McMahon" on her stationary.

Her husband Triple H is adjusting to corporate life and may have tried to stay on the straight and narrow.

Stephanie however felt that she needed to have Punk pay for embarrassing her father and the company her grandfather built when Punk left Money In The Bank as WWE Champion.

This is all speculation, but can you think of another reason Stephanie was on camera tonight?

2) It Was a Kliq Ordered Screwjob

We all know the history of the Kliq in WWE. Triple H and Kevin Nash are the only remaining members active in the WWE.

To relate to pop culture terms, Nash is like Triple H's consigliere. Triple H is like The Godfather. He can't be seen getting his hands dirty so he has someone else take care of his business for him.

What better man than the towering giant Kevin Nash? Nash provides muscle, hasn't been on the scene in quite sometime, and has had his share in nefarious dealings.

This smelled like a Kliq job to me, but only time will tell. 

3) Kevin Nash Wants to Work with CM Punk

Kevin Nash has known to be in the thick on controversy. This situation is full of it.

Nash sent out this tweet in the past and it may indicate he wants to work with Punk:

@RealKevinNashKevin NashPunk if you want back up you got my number.Your worth me going back on the road full time.Offer stands understand if you want to go it alone

"

Maybe Nash felt snubbed and angry that Punk didn't reach out to him, which seems very NWO like: join willingly or pay the consequences.

Nash is now back in the spotlight and he could have a good feud with some of the individuals who were involved tonight. 

Only time will tell and Monday Night Raw should clear things up. 

4) Kevin Nash Could Be the Raw GM

Many fans hinted at this going back but it is very hard to recant all the actions of the Anonymous Raw GM.

However, Nash exerting his authority tonight could be a potential act as Raw GM.

This is simply a shot out of left field but as we the fans know, creative has done some very sketchy and creative things in the past.

If Kevin Nash is the GM he could end up clashing onscreen with Triple H.
