WWE Hot Rumor: Samoa Joe to Leave TNA and Sign with WWE?!?!
Before I even start, this is just a reminder, it is just a rumor. As with a million things on the Internet, believe what you want and take everything as it comes. Good or bad.
With that said, a new Wrestling Observer (h/t WrestleZone) report has come out that Samoa Joe is eyeing up greener pastures in WWE when his contract expires with TNA in a few months. My reaction? Bad for TNA, so-so news for WWE.
First of all, Joe's last contract with TNA expired last year, and WWE showed no interest in him. What happened? A month later, he returned to TNA.

Why would now be any different? Why would WWE care about Joe now, when they didn't last time he was free? A few things...
1. Stone Cold gave him a ringing endorsement on Twitter recently. That may sound like nothing, but he also game Khama a "good word," as well as Jim Ross doing the same. Kharma soon signed with WWE.
2. Joe seems a little bit more motivated now, than he did last year. I (and others) jokingly refer to him as "Sloppy Joes." That is almost like his alter-ego. The unmotivated, out of shape, lazy, going through the motions Joe vs the unstoppable, beast of an athlete Joe.
WWE would want a motivated Joe. Right now, that may be the only thing left to bring his career back to where it SHOULD be. The man deserves a shot in WWE, whether it turns out good or bad for him. He deserves a chance.
3. CM Punk is playing the political game. This may help Joe the most. It is no secret Punk is trying to get a buddy or two or even more signed to WWE. Could Joe be next to get a tryout?
Who knows? Again, it is just a rumor, but at this point, if he did leave, that would be like ripping the heart out of TNA.
He is TNA! He may not be the most featured anymore and gets loss after loss year after year, but he is TNA through and through.
For him to finally say, "Screw this garbage promotion" and "head up north," that would suck the life out of that locker room once and for all.
Hmmm...doesn't sound so bad after all...
