CM Punk, R-Truth and 4 Wrestlers Whose Character Change Rocks
Sometimes the WWE Universe and wrestling personas like CM Punk, R-Truth and Sheamus need to see a change.
The recent change in the WWE has made the business more interesting to watch for the casual fan.
There hasn't been anything better than CM Punk and John Cena's feud in the past few weeks. It makes me (the casual fan) want to pay the money for SummerSlam.
These four wrestlers have experienced a change in the past few weeks, and boy does it make their characters interesting again.
No 4: Sheamus
1 of 4Sheamus was an enemy for most WWE fans. However, he has turned into the "good guy" with his feud between a more aggressive Mark Henry.
Henry suggested that he wants a "challenge" and finally Sheamus was ready for it. He walked out to the ring and showed that he wasn't afraid of Henry.
Of all people who came out, Sheamus? Really? He has since changed his ways with the fans and I love his new character.
No 3: Mark Henry
2 of 4Mark Henry was a wrestler who didn't live up to his "World's Strongest Man" mantra. He continued to lose against "quality" opponents, but destroyed wrestlers who were 200 pounds less than him.
However, he is finally living up to his hype.
His new aggressive behavior makes it seem much more realistic because he is tearing opponents to shreds. This is something that should almost always happen given his size and strength.
No 2: R-Truth
3 of 4Whether it is "Little Jimmy" or his overall character change, I enjoy R-Truth more than ever before. He was being lumped into a character who was just getting old and overused.
Now, his more aggressive behavior has turned him into somebody I want to see. Also, he is funny with his character.
"How come there are 10 hot dogs in a package and only eight buns?" Where did that come from? Entertaining things coming from R-Truth these days.
No 1: CM Punk
4 of 4CM Punk was a wrestler that had a decent following before he exploded on Monday Night Raw weeks ago.
Now, the WWE has him going up against John Cena at SummerSlam and most WWE fans are rooting for him to take down Cena.
He is now headlining a pay-per-view, his feud between Cena is a reason to watch and he is the main attraction with his words and actions.
CM Punk is making you feel that what he is saying is "real." Some of the things that come out of his mouth sound personal (mostly because they were) and it makes you get that much more into their feud.
The feud between CM Punk and John Cena has been the best feud in a long time.
