Christian vs. Randy Orton at Night of Champions? Please, No!
*sigh*
Let me just start this off with a little warning to everyone: I am a Christian fan. I am a Randy Orton fan.
Their feud has been great, one of SmackDown's best in years.

The World title on SmackDown has really benefited from this. Both men have played their role well and have been amazing.
With that said...
Their angle needs to end at Summerslam, if not the SmackDown show after.
I said this a week or two ago, and I am sticking to it.
Why all the discussion? A report just hit online that Christian vs. Orton is set to headline the September pay-per-view, as well as Summerslam and Money in the Bank—just like Capitol Punishment and Over the Limit before that.
That is too much, and I am ready to move on.
As big of a fan of long, played-out story lines that I am, this one is stretching my patience.
My concern is simple: they have match at Summerslam and then Night of Champions. You are almost forced to put them inside a Hell in a Cell then in October, based on all the history and bad blood.
No changing it up. No triple threats thrown in there. No tag matches on PPV, maybe to give the two a break. No four-ways.
All of these have been one-on-one. I am really struggling to grasp that notion.
What is the record for consecutive one-on-one main events for the World title? Even Cena/Orton/Triple H in 2009 switched it up every other match or so—man alive!
This is why I am going to make a bold prediction here: Christian vs. Orton will NOT headline Night of Champions in September.
I am calling the bluff on that rumor. It just can't happen.
End it at Summerslam and gradually move on. Throw Sheamus in there. Throw Henry in there. Kane, Bryan, Zeke, Cody, ZACK RYDER!
Anyone! But yet another one-on-one match? Please, no!
