NFL Rumors: Where Will Troubled Vince Young Land?
It's ironic that right when Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was beginning to live up to his potential on the field last season, he had a meltdown off of it, throwing his shoulder pads into the stands after the team's Week 11 loss to the Washington Redskins and getting into an altercation with then-coach Jeff Fisher in the locker room.
Or perhaps it wasn't ironic at all, but simply fitting.
Young, taken third overall in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Titans, was being labeled a headcase and a career underachiever before he turned things around last season.

Offseason Moves for Every Team 👉
He threw for 10 touchdowns and just three interceptions in nine games in 2010, and had a career-best 98.8 QB rating.
Well, he's still apparently a headcase, but he appears to be shedding the "career underachiever" moniker.
That has several teams looking at him as free agency gets underway.
Chris Mortensen of ESPN recently reported that the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins had been looking at Young during the lockout.
With the Eagles, Young could be a good fit as a backup, given he can't quite be counted on to be the leader of a team right now.
In the Dolphins' case, well, they need all the help they can get at the quarterback position. It may seem to be a bad idea to bring a possible disruption to a Dolphins team that finished just 7-9 last season, but when your starting quarterbacks are Chad Henne and Tyler Thigpen, it can't hurt to hope that Young turns things around mentally.
I really like Young with the Eagles under coach Andy Reid. Reid has shown he can handle controversial figures, including DeSean Jackson and Michael Vick, and maybe he could get Young under control.
You would think just the added pressure of potentially being kicked out of the league, a la JaMarcus Russell, would make Young a more disciplined player in 2011-2012.
But until Young shows he can handle himself without blowing up, he'll languish in the NFL.
