Top 25 Rundown: No. 8-No. 6, No. 1-No. 7 Highlight Week 10

Only four teams from the top 25 meet in week 10. However, that certainly doesn't mean there's a shortage of quality games to be played.

Here's a look at the top 25 teams and what's ahead of them in Week 10.

West Virginia @ No. 25 Connecticut (+4): 12:00pm ET on ESPN360.com

Pat White is back healthy, and WVU is coming off a big win over Auburn.  Connecticut has no passing game.

Prediction: West Virginia 37, Connecticut 24—WVU covers easily

No. 24 Oregon (+3) @ California: 3:30pm ET on ABC/ESPN360.com

Oregon dominates on the ground but will be slowed by Cal.  Riley has the reins of this Bears offense and is much more mobile and can avoid Nick Reed and the Oregon D-Line.

Prediction: California 31, Oregon 30—Cal does not cover

No. 23 South Florida @ Cincinnati (+2.5): Thursday, 7:30pm ET on ESPN

Both teams suffered losses last week.  South Florida needs to win to continue momentum and remain ranked.

Wisconsin (+4.5) @ No. 21 Michigan State: 12:30pm ET on ESPN/ESPN360.com

The Badgers have underachieved and give up 23 points a game, the game is in East Lansing, and someone by the name of Javon Ringer is playing.

Prediction: Michigan State 37, Wisconsin 17—Michigan State covers easily

No. 20 Brigham Young @ Colorado State (+14.5): 6:00pm ET on The Mtn.

BYU needs convincing wins to possibly make a BCS bowl.  Colorado State gives up 31 per game.

Prediction: BYU 48, Colorado State 14—BYU covers easily

Tulane (+25.5) @ No. 19 LSU: 8:00pm ET on ESPN360.com

Tulane only put up six versus Alabama.  LSU uses this game to take out its aggression from last week's thumping by Georgia.

Prediction: LSU 52, Tulane 12—LSU covers easily

No. 18 Tulsa @ Arkansas (+7): 2:00pm ET on ESPN360.com

Tulsa's dream season continues in Fayetteville to the dismay of the mighty 3-5 Razorbacks. Where's D-Mac when you need him?

Northwestern (+7) @ No. 17 Minnesota - 12:00pm ET on ESPN2/ESPN360.com

Now one-dimensional Northwestern can't hang with the Golden Gophers and the combo of Weber to Decker.

No. 15 Florida State (+2.5) @ Georgia Tech: 3:30pm ET on ABC/ESPN360.com

Something has to give.  G-Tech hasn't given up more than 17 points this season, and FSU scores over 36.  I'll take home team and defense.

No. 14 Missouri @ Baylor (+20.5) - 3:30pm ET (Radio Only)

Pick your score.  Missouri makes Heisman claims for Daniel and Maclin.

No. 13 TCU @ UNLV (+14): 8:00pm ET (Radio Only)

TCU's defense could win this game by itself. The Rebels have lost four in a row—make that five.

No. 11 Boise State @ New Mexico State (+20.5): 7:00pm ET on ESPN360.com

The Broncos continue their climb to the top with a convincing win over the Aggies.

Prediction: Boise State 48, New Mexico State 13—Boise State covers easily

No. 10 Utah @ New Mexico (+7.5): 9:30pm ET on The Mtn.

The Utes cracked the Top 10 and look to stay BCS worthy. It won't be easy against Rocky Long and Co.

Iowa State (+30.5) @ No. 9 Oklahoma State: 3:30pm ET on ABC/ESPN360.com

The Cyclones give up 31 per game—Oklahoma State could double that.

No. 8 Florida vs. No. 6 Georgia (+6): 3:30pm ET on CBS

No. 2 game of the week.  Florida takes a chapter from the book of Saban and scores early and often.

Prediction: Florida 35, Georgia 23—Florida covers

No. 1 Texas @ No. 7 Texas Tech (+4): 8:00pm ET on ABC

NC hopes on the line for both teams.  Texas has a better defense, Tech is at home.  Toss up here.  NC hopes continue for Tech in the upset

Washington (+44) @ No. 5 USC: 6:30pm ET (Radio Only)

Ty Willingham thought his resignation announcement would put to rest any negativity surrounding the program.  Unfortunately the Huskies will gain nothing positive from this inevitable spanking.

Prediction: USC 55, Washington 6—USC barely covers

Nebraska (+22.5) @ No. 4 Oklahoma: 9:00pm ET on ESPN/ESPN360.com

The Sooners use this as a stepping stone to build confidence entering their brutal end of the season stretch.
