Huge TNA Impact Spoiler!

Joe Burgett Oct 28, 2008

If you watched TNA iMPACT last week live from Las Vegas in HD you'd know there were two big announcements. One was that Mick Foley was buying stock in TNA, even though with the current stock market it is kind of risky.

The other was the creation of the Main Event Mafia, which includes: Kevin Nash, Booker T, Kurt Angle, and TNA World Champion Sting. But now there is a new member to be added to the Man Event Mafia. His name is...Scott Steiner.

Original plans called for Steiner to actually align with the younger stars, he would become a face and align with his protege Petty Williams. But obviously things changed.

Personally I think it would be better for him to join the Mafia, only because he is a legend in wretling as the entire Mafia is, and it would be weird to see Steiner align with the young guys rather than the veterans in the Mafia.

I guess the TNA creative team saw it that way too. But for me I would have liked to have seen a good storyline with Steiner. It would be good exposure for Steiner to be a vet who is on the young guys side.

I guess that may have been what TNA was thinking too, but then they changed their minds and thought he would be better in the Main Event Mafia. Who knows? But it is certain that at the TNA taping tonight, Steiner will join The Main Event Mafia.

You'll see it Thursday on Spike TV, in the iMPACT Zone. Speaking on the TNA iMPACT Zone.

The main reason for the live event last week was for the iMPACT Zone to be transformed, and the fact that Spike TV told them that they wanted to have TNA to have one.

This is not a big change to being live every week however. They will only do that on special occasions, or at PPVs.The new stage still has two tunnels leading up to it for the faces and heels, but just one ramp going down.

So what do you think about Steiner joining the Main Event Mafia
