Inter Milan: Who Will Succeed Leonardo as the New Coach?

According to an article from the online magazine Sky Sports, Inter Milan is full of rumors concerning a possible successor to Leonardo Araújo. Leonardo left Inter Milan to accept a post as sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain.

The names linked with Inter Milan are the following: Andre Villas-Boas (Porto coach), Delio Rossi (former coach of Palermo), Giampiero Gasperini (former coach of Genoa), Guus Hiddink (Turkey), Fabio Capello (England coach), Luciano Spalletti (Zenit St Petersburg coach), Marcelo Bielsa (former coach of Argentina) and Sinisa Mihajlovic (Fiorentina coach). 

Bielsa and Mihajlovic have already expressed their intentions of not wanting to coach Inter Milan. Villas-Boas has a release clause from Porto to the tune of €15 million or $21 million. According to Sports.Ru, Spalletti has ruled out a move to Inter Milan.

According to another online magazine Daily Mail, Hiddink is linked to a possible return to Chelsea after serving as coach of the Turkish National Football Team. Massimo Moratti (Inter Milan President) has also ruled out Hiddink for Inter Milan.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, (and reported on USA Today,) Capello has been tapped as a possible replacement for Leonardo. Moratti has stated he is not going to rush in appointing a new coach for Inter Milan.

It remains to be seen what will be of the remaining choices for Inter Milan: Rossi, Gasperini and Capello.
