Week Eight Plays

Another poor week...that makes two in a row. I still think my plays were solid, as the Falcons were trying to prove me right until a four-quarter collapse.  But, as they say, any given Sunday!  We'll try to regroup and come with a better week in Week Nine. On the bright side, we're still .500.

Chargers (-3) @ Saints

The Play: Chargers (-3) for two units

The Result: Saints 37-32

This was a shootout, and the Chargers failed to capitalize on Bush being gone. They just aren't the same team they were last season. Merriman means so much to that defense, and without him, they are not very good.

Bucs @ Cowboys (-1 )

The Play: Cowboys (-1) for two units

The Result: Cowboys 13-9

Cowboys did everything they could to lose this game, but they hung on. Look for better performances from them after Romo returns.

Falcons @ Eagles (-9)

The Play: Falcons (+9) for two units

The Result: Eagles 27-14

The Falcons played well and had the cover but gave it away at the end.
