Alternative to Lisa and Justin's College Picks: First Two Games—Win Win
Noel Devine. Jot down this name. You are going to hear it for years to come in college football and the NFL!
West Virginia got a solid win last night behind some fine running by Noel Devine.
Coming from a great high school career in North Fort Myers, Florida, you will hear his name quite a bit in football for the next, ohhhhh, 15 years or so!
Devine ran for a whopping 207 yards, and Pat White threw three touchdowns in a 31-straight-point run for the West Virginia Mountaineers, beating Auburn 34-17.
In my second pick out of 11 games picked this weekend, Air Force crunched New Mexico as expected, 23-10.
We have nine more games picked for this weekend, and NFL Mikee is having a good month!
I won $25 on a $2 e-z match fantasy five ticket this week also. I'm hot! LOL.
Games to watch include Purdue—no points, they just have to win—North Carolina to win by three, and Pittsburgh to beat Rutgers easily by 10.
I'm giving 25 points to Florida to beat Kentucky by, so I hope they are not looking ahead to Georgia. They need big wins to move up in the BCS rankings, so pile on the points, Gators!
We are taking Vandy this week to win by 10 and a half.
I love this South Florida Bulls team by four points this weekend. They are playing very well!
Texas Tech is a one-point underdog to Kansas? Go figure! Texas Tech by seven or more.
USC needs to win convincingly to move up in the rankings also, or they will be stuck in the Rose Bowl against perhaps Ohio State in a rematch. USC by 17 to keep their dream alive.
Finally, the big game in the Big Ten. Penn State will beat Ohio State by a touchdown or more. The spread is three. I think Ohio State is too one-dimensional and Penn State has a much more balanced attack.
Joe Paterno's Nittany Lions get a big win on Saturday. This coupled with an Alabama loss somewhere will get Penn State to that number two ranking, which will be hard to knock them out of!
Texas and their great quarterback may just play Penn State for the National Title come January!
Good luck to all your favorites as things become clearer in the coming weeks!
