While this comes as no surprise, we speculated as much when the NCAA started investigating Pryor, it is confirmation of what has become a devastating situation for Ohio State.
First Jim Tressel, now Pryor. Which of the four suspended players might jump ship with him?
The next step for Pryor could be the NFL Supplemental Draft.
The Supplemental Draft is reserved for players who fail to submit paperwork before the NFL's draft deadline. Generally those players are in similar situations to Pryor and have either been suspended or fear they will be.
The Supplemental Draft is a bit of a mystery this year. The NFL claims it will happen "if anyone applies," but the NFLPA is not sure if there can even be a Supplemental Draft.
We are willing to speculate that Pryor will be applying very soon.
