Mike Singletary Is He The Right Fit For The 49ers?
The question remains for 49ers fans was Mike Singletary the right choice to take over the 49ers? Most experts and fans expected another Mike, in Mike Martz, the one running the offense, to take Mike Nolan's place when he got fired. So, it was rather surprising when the 49ers made the decision of Singletary.
The first thing for 49ers fans is don't expect a quick fix for this season. I believe it would have been much more beneficial for the 49ers to have either waited until the season was done or fired Nolan before this season started. The reason being is that Singletary could hire his assistants to try to put the 49ers back together back to their winning ways.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Right now he doesn't have that. I'm sure Singletary is very disappointed with his defensive coordinator. The 49ers do not blitz enough and they hardly get any pressure on the quarterback.
The second part of this is that he's probably going to be disappointed with the state the offense is in. We have Frank Gore and Isaac Bruce as the offensive players currently making plays. The 49ers did find something against the Giants that proved to be succesfull and that was throwing the little quick slants for first downs.
Look for more of that and I'm still going to say the 49ers need to start getting the ball to Vernon Davis. I do realize he was wide open and dropped a ball against the Giants, but other then that, they never looked for him afterwards.
Expect a win against Seattle though. Seattle is a team on the decline thanks to injuries. Our problem is the decision making of J.T. O'Sullivan and hopefully they continue working with him on making better decisions with the ball.
It's easy to get frustrated with O'Sullivan, like I have before and commented on other articles, but he's got to do a better job, otherwise Shaun Hill should be getting the nod over O'Sullivan.
The good news for the 49ers is that Seattle is 1-5. The bad news is the Rams went from looking like a doormat under Scott Linehan to a not so easy team to play and that starts with Steven Jackson finding his legs after his holdout.
They are now tied with the 49ers for second place at 2-5. The other bad news is that it looks like Arizona is going to run away with the division.
