The first week in the build up to WWE's new PPV, Capitol Punishment, has begun. It's a shame that the first Raw was pretty much a throwaway episode. On SmackDown, however, a new No. 1 Contender was crowned when Sheamus defeated both Christian and Mark Henry in a Triple Threat match.

Mr. McGuillicutty's chance at being the top Superstar of the week has been scuppered by Sheamus, who became the new No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Still, it's a good showing from New Nexus, who are losing their relevance, but the gold should sustain them for the foreseeable future. Anyone hopes they go Freebird with the titles?
