WWE: Why Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler Could Both Benefit from a Double Turn
On Monday Night Raw, the WWE seemingly teased another feud between Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston. After Kingston's win over Drew McIntyre, it showed Ziggler backstage watching with his "business partner" Vickie Guerrero.
These two already had a stellar feud over on Friday Night SmackDown, over the Intercontinental Championship. We saw great matches week after week, with Kofi eventually overcoming the odds, although Ziggler soon became the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
This time around, not only do we need this to be fresh, but both Ziggler and Kingston should have been main eventing long ago.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
So my proposal is this: If they do indeed feud, do a double-turn of the rivals. In other words, Kofi would turn heel and Ziggler would turn face. Neither one of them has turned in their careers, so I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity to do so
Ziggler can get rather boring in my opinion, without the personality shot in the arm Vickie Guerrero gives him. I think Ziggler has run his course as a heel and is about to get buried if he doesn't evolve. Furthermore, a face turn could do Ziggler wonders and also hand Vickie over to another up-and-coming heel. As far as that goes, we'll discuss it in a bit.
Kingston has been a face his entire WWE career and is easily the most over mid-carder in the business. With that being said, Kingston needs some edge. His character is becoming dull and predictable, although to be fair, most do when they've been going since 2008.
This could also dramatically help Kofi's mic skills. On the mic, he's shown spurts of brilliance, but can sometimes get a little on the corny side.
How would this be done?
Kofi has shown aggression in the past—against Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler. Let's say these two began feuding and Kofi kept coming out on top.
Slowly, Dolph would become a sympathetic figure and Kofi would show heel characteristics.
Kofi would cheat to win and sneak-attack on Ziggler when he was a full-fledged face.
We would also have backstage segments where Vickie would cheat on Dolph with another heel. When Dolph finds out, he dumps Vickie.
So after dumping Vickie and going on a losing streak, Doph would eventually defeat the freshly turned Kingston for the United States Championship.
Kofi could move over to SmackDown and become a main event heel. Depending on if Christian or Orton turn, Kofi could very well be SmackDown's top heel and challenge for the World title.
Could you imagine a Kofi Kingston/Randy Orton feud with real-life animosity?
It'd make for good television!
Dolph could climb up the ranks on Raw and submit himself as the second or third top face on the brand.
Feuds with The Miz, Alberto Del Rio or CM Punk could all make Ziggler a top face in the company.
Enough of me, what do you think of this idea? Could both Superstars benefit from a double turn? Or would they just get pushed further down the card?
Either way, feedback is welcome as always.
