It starts off like the normal video of a foul ball into the crowd until they realize its going right at the former president George W. Bush and wife Laura.
Chicago White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski goes to the mesh fencing that backstops the batter’s box. He reaches behind the fencing as the ball bounces off the concrete right in front of the former president.
The White Sox catcher and the former president exchanged words and a laugh before Pierzynski walked back to the plate.
A.J. Pierzynski told the Chicago Tribune:
""I just told him just because he was the President doesn’t mean I won’t jump on top of him. Him and his wife got a good chuckle out of that one."

I love the honesty, but I imagine that if Pierzynski dove on top of the former president, there would be security all over the area.
The former president’s presence at Texas Rangers baseball games is constant and I am surprised run-ins like this don’t happen more often.
For instance, imagine LeBron James going after a loose ball and leveling Jack Nicholson in Los Angeles—that would be amazing.
