Fantasy Baseball Free Agent Pool: 2011 Speed Demons, Vol. 4 (May 24)

Ryan LesterMay 24, 2011

Just because you’ve slipped behind in the Stolen Base category doesn’t mean you can’t catch up. Here are some reasonably available stolen base options.

Adam Kennedy, Seattle Mariners

Kennedy stole four bases in the past 15 days while hitting .333 with four runs, two home runs and five RBI. On the year he’s hitting .283 with 12 runs, four home runs, 11 RBI and five stolen bases. Not a traditional speedster, especially given his age (35), but Kennedy quietly had 34 SBs over the past two years. His positional flexibility adds to his bench value. Adam is owned in less than five percent of fantasy leagues.
