Cincinnati at Philadelphia
Placido Polanco went 2-for-4 with two runs, a homer and two RBI (27) to raise his average to .339. Raul Ibanez also went 2-for-4 with two runs, a home run and two RBI (20). Carlos Ruiz went 3-for-3 with a run. John Mayberry Jr. went 1-for-4 with a run and two RBI.

Toronto at New York Yankees
Aaron Hill went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI (17). J.P. Arencibia went 2-for-4 with four RBI (23). Brett Gardner went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. Carlos Villanueva gave up one run on two hits with five strikeouts in five innings for the win.
Chicago White Sox at Texas
Alexi Ogando struck out six in a five-hit shutout. Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz each homered in their return to action.
Tampa Bay at Detroit
Jhonny Peralta went 1-for-3 with two RBI (26) to raise his average to .295. Johnny Damon went 2-for-5. Jeremy Hellickson gave up two runs in 6.1 innings but took the loss.
Boston at Cleveland
Asdrubal Cabrera went 3-for-4 with a home run (10) and two RBI (34) to raise his average to .312. Justin Masterson and Clay Buchholz each gave up two runs on four hits in seven-plus innings but got no-decisions.
Washington at Milwaukee
Corey Hart went 3-for-4 with three home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base. Jonathan Lucroy went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI to raise his average to .327. Yuniesky Betancourt went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Roger Bernadina went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Laynce Nix went 2-for-4. Jerry Hairston Jr. went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Yovani Gallardo gave up one run on five hits with nine strikeouts to improve to 6-2 with a 4.35 ERA.
Los Angeles Dodgers at Houston
Bill Hall went 4-for-4 with two runs and a stolen base. Bud Norris gave up two earned runs with five strikeouts in seven innings but got a no-decision. Kenley Jansen blew his save opportunity and Clayton Kershaw’s would-be win.
Seattle at Minnesota
Jack Cust went 2-for-5 with two runs, a homer and two RBI (16). Carlos Peguero went 2-for-5 with two RBI. Brendan Ryan went 2-for-5 with a run. Michael Cuddyer went 2-for-3 with three runs. Jim Thome went 2-for-3 with two home runs and four RBI.
Oakland at Los Angeles Angels
Jeff Mathis went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Coco Crisp went 2-for-3 with a run. Josh Outman matched Jered Weaver by giving up one run over seven innings. Neither starter factored into the decision.
St. Louis at San Diego
Jon Jay went 3-for-5 with a stolen base. Daniel Descalso went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Chase Headley went 2-for-4. Cameron Maybin went 2-for-3 with a run. Kyle Lohse, yesterday’s streaming pitching option, gave up one run on five hits with five strikeouts in eight innings to improve to 6-2 with a 2.06 ERA. Dustin Moseley gave up one run on five hits in seven innings but got a no-decision.
