WWE Breaking News: From WWE Uprising to WWE Vengeance

Daniel MasseyMay 21, 2011

Hey Folks. Casually browsing the Internet earlier today, I noticed that the Uprising name has been cancelled just days after being announced.

www.wwelivetour.com is now presenting the WWE Uprising event as WWE Vengeance! Vengeance seems to be making a return. The event was originally renamed from Bragging Rights—a pay per view not well received by the IWC.

Has WWE given in to the masses? They are obviously changing the name to increase PPV buys and a reversion to an old classic can only be a good thing, can’t it?

Vengeance certainly has a rich history, including crowning the first ever Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho. Can they bring back the magic that event originally produced? What do they have in store for the pay-per-view?

I believe they must have something special planned for it considering they changed their minds within a matter of days.

Oct. 23, 2011, one of my favourite PPV events will be making a return.

Did you like the WWE Uprising event name? Are you glad Vengeance is coming back? Please let us know in the comments section below.

I hope you enjoyed this little bit of breaking news.

Thanks for reading.
