Whether or not you are a fan of Daniel Tosh’s Tosh.0 show on Comedy Central, you have to give the man credit for getting in the ring and taking a shot from Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao is the pound-for-pound toughest man in boxing, and his punches at 50 percent are still harder than normal punches at 100 percent.

For most there it seemed like a normal day of training for Pacquiao before his fight against “Sugar” Shane Mosley, but that all changed in an instant.

Tosh and UFC personality Joe Rogan wanted Pacquiao to be a part of a skit where Rogan teaches Tosh how to box.

Daniel Tosh tells the Examiner:

I began to think that this was a really, really bad idea, But if I had to get punched, it might as well have been from the greatest fighter ever . . . . I had a dentist come into my office to fit me for my mouthpiece . . . . I did hear a ring [when I got punched] . . . I wanted to close my eyes . . . There's a loud bell then you see yourself on the ground.

"

As you can see in the video, Pacquiao is such a lighthearted man that he was reluctant at first. As the skit seemed to drag on and into the training session, it felt like Pacquiao was trying to end the fight early.

Tosh gets credit from me for even considering an act like this because I would never be stupid enough to let Pacquiao hit me.

We’re talking about one of the toughest human beings on earth being allowed to punch you in the unprotected face.

There is a list of things in my life that I want to do, and getting punched in the face by an eight-division boxing champion before a big fight is not one of them.
