Here’s a look at the unheralded fantasy baseball players who played well yesterday.

Tampa Bay at Cleveland

Sam Fuld went 1-for-5 with two RBI. Johny Damon went 2-for-5 with a run. Matt Joyce went 1-for-3 with two runs. He’s hitting .358.

Casey Kotchman took over the team batting average lead (.360) after going 2-for-4 with a run. Reid Brignac went 1-for-4 with two RBI. Asdrubal Cabrera went2-for-3 with two runs and a homer (six). He’s hitting .289 with 24 RBI.

New York Yankees v. Chicago Cubs

Orlando Cabrera went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI (21). James Shields gave up two runs with seven strikeouts in seven innings to improve to 4-1 with a 2.08 ERA. Justin Masterson gave up five runs in 5.2 innings for his first loss of the year. He’s still 5-1 with a 2.73 ERA.

St. Louis at Chicago Cubs

John Jay went 3-for-6 with a run and three RBI. Yadier Molina went 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI (16) to raise his average to .294. Tyler Greene went 1-for-3 with two runs and an RBI. Jeff Baker went 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Jaime Garcia gave up one run in seven innings to improve to 5-0 with a 1.89 ERA.

Arizona at San Francisco

Nate Schierholtz went 3-for-4 with an RBI to raise his average to .281. Eli Whiteside went 2-for-4 with a run. Gerardo Parra went 2-for-5 with a run. Xavier Nady went 2-for-4 with a run.

Matt Cain had another strong performance. Daniel Hudson gave up three runs with five strikeouts in 6.2 innings, but took the loss.

New York Mets at Colorado

Willie Harris went 1-for-2 with three runs. Carlos Beltran hit three home runs and drove in six RBI. Jonathan Herrera went 2-for-5 with a home run to raise his average to .283. Ryan Spilbroughs went 2-for-4.

Ubaldo Jimenez continues to struggle.

Seattle at Baltimore

Jason Vargas and Zach Britton each tossed nine scoreless innings but did not factor into the decision. J.J. Hardy went 2-for-5 with two RBI. Robert Andino went 2-for2.

Kansas City at New York Yankees

Melky Cabrera went 2-for-5 with two runs, a home run and two RBI (24) to raise his average to .280. Alex Gordon went 1-for-5 with two runs. Eric Hosmer went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI.

It was his second straight game with a homer. Wilson Betemit went 2-for-4 with two runs. Alcides Escobar went 1-for-5 with two RBI. Brett Gardner went 2-for-4 with a run. Francisco Cervelli went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Washington at Atlanta

Martin Prado went 2-for-4 with two runs and a grand slam. Alex Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a run. Danny Espinosa went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI (20). Jordan Zimmermann gave up three runs on five hits with 11 strikeouts in 6.1 innings but got a no-decision.
