Madden 12 Will Give Depressed Fans Everything They Want

Frank PassalacquaMay 10, 2011

With the NFL lockout still in place and looking to be a more serious issue than it was supposed to be, many NFL fans are watching their glimmering hope of next season vanish before their eyes. If the lockout holds strong, then fans can mark August 30th down on their calendar as a day to smile. Madden 12 will be released on August 30, 2011, and will be the closest thing to the NFL that the EA Sports has to offer.

For gamers who are advent players of the famous Madden series, then playing Madden won't make the lockout seem so bad. With an engine upgrade, Madden 12 is looking to be the most realistic and authentic football game to date. You can live the season by playing through all 16 regular season games as any team you'd like in hopes to reaching the Superbowl. The Madden franchise has been around for around 25 years, serving true NFL fans yearly. The game will be released around the time the regular season would've originally started, so you won't be as lonely as you think.

Are you interested in seeing how Cam Newton will handle the NFL as a Carolina Panther? Playing Madden 12 will answer all your questions and give you hours of fun. With Cleveland Browns' star Peyton Hillis gracing the cover and beating out Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, many new changes will bring the series to it's best year yet. Some new features include real-time ball physics, new onside kick techniques, a new tackling system, better and more realistic lighting, updated rosters, upgraded presentation, custom playbooks, and a engine overhaul allowing for better graphics and the best football rush available.

Something that is a little addition to the game that many people will overlook is the "grass." I know what your asking, "Grass? What's so new about that?" Well in the past, it appeared players were running around on green pavement, not grass. Yeah the field would wear out and look muddy in certain conditions, but it was still lacking something. Now, when you are watching a replay you can spot the individual blades of grass swaying in the wind or getting torn up on a dive. Little things like this will make everyone feel at home.

So if the lockout leaves fans with no football this upcoming season, be sure to check out Madden 12 for the closest thing to football you can experience, other than your back yard.
