Search Terms

So, I like to keep tabs on our site stats to see how many fine readers we have at our site and find out how those readers stumbled upon us. Today, I was looking through some search terms people used to get here when I stumbled across a gem.

Twelve people apparently found our site using the following search term: “right field bleachers Jared is gay for the Brewers.”

Seriously?

First of all, what?

Secondly, how did they know?

Oh well…

Here are a few of the other search terms that were a little odd:

• Trenni Kusnierek herpes
• J.J. Hardy herpes
• pancake breasts
• Ian Kinsler acne
• Lance Berkman eye liner
• “I Have a Hart On” for Corey

It was a good way to kill a few minutes…

Anyway, there are a couple interesting things that popped up on the Web today for Brewers’ fans viewing pleasure. Check ‘em out:

• Gabe Gross likes God. He’s a good guy, a decent player and I’m happy for him. I hope he gets a ring with the Rays.
• Speaking of the Rays, they might be good for a long, long time.
• If you were a Brewer this season and might not be next year, you’re having a baby. CC Sabathia, Craig Counsell and Mike Cameron have all had kids since October started. Your turn, Gagne.
• Ken Rosenthal says the Brewers are expected to sign Doug Melvin to an extension soon.
• He also says: “Not much doubt that the Brewers will exercise their $10 million option on center fielder Mike Cameron, who turns 36 on Jan. 8. Yes, Cameron had the fourth-highest strikeout rate in the majors, but his .811 OPS ranked sixth among center fielders with 500 or more plate appearances — ahead of Shane Victorino, ahead of B.J. Upton …”
