Here’s a look at the unheralded fantasy baseball players who played well yesterday.

Houston at Cincinnati
Edgar Renteria went 2-for-5 with two RBI. Ryan Hanigan went 3-for-4with three runs and an RBI. Homer Bailey gave up one run on four hits with seven strikeouts to win his first start of the season.

Toronto at Tampa Bay
Johnny Damon went 2-for-4 with an RBI (21). David Price tossed a gem.

San Francisco at New York Mets
Mike Pelfrey gave up one earned run on four hits with five strikeouts in 7-2/3 innings to earn the win.

New York Yankees at Detroit
Brennan Boesch went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI (16) to raise his average to .318. Brett Gardner went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Eduardo Nunez went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Rick Porcello gave up two runs on three hits to improve to 2-2 with a 3.93 ERA.

Florida at St. Louis
The big guns did the damage for St. Louis. John Buck went 2-for-4 with two runs. Omar Infante went 2-for-3 with two RBI (13). Jake Westbrook gave up three runs with eight strikeouts in 6-1/3 innings, but got a no-decision.

LA Angels at Boston
Erick Aybar went 4-for-6 with two runs, an RBI, and two stolen bases (7). Howie Kendrick went 3-for-6 with a run, two RBI (14), and a stolen base. Bobby Abreu went 2-for-3 with three RBI (16). Alberto Callaspo went 2-for-5 with two RBI. Mark Trumbo went 1-for-3 with a home run (6) and two RBI (17). Peter Bourjos went 3-for-4 with four runs. Joel Pinero gave up three hits in 5-2/3 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Baltimore at Kansas City
Chris Getz went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Melky Cabrera went 3-for-4 with three runs, a home run, and four RBI (20) to raise his average to .293. Mike Aviles went 2-for-3 with an RBI (23). Alcides Escobar went 2-for-4 with two runs. Bruce Chen gave up one run on five hits in seven innings to improve to 4-1 with a 3.59 ERA.

Cleveland at Oakland
Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-5 with two RBI (21). Travis Hafner went 2-for-5 to raise his average to .353. Lou Marson went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI. Conor Jackson went 3-for-5 with a run to raise his average to .286. Ryan Sweeney went 5-for-6 with two RBI. Jeanmar Gomez gave up one run in 5-1/3 innings, but got a no-decision. Same for Brett Anderson who gave up two runs in nine innings.

Washington at Philadelphia
Placido Polanco went 2-for-5 with a run to raise his average to .375. Raul Ibanez went 3-for-4 with two runs, a home run, and three RBI (15). Alex Cora went 2-for-4 with a stolen base. Adam LaRoche went 2-for-4 with a run. Doc Halladay did his thing.

Milwaukee at Atlanta
Martin Prado and Eric Hinske each went 2-for-4 with a home run. Chipper Jones went 2-for-4. Brandon Beachy gave up one unearned run on four hits with nine strikeouts in six innings, but got a no-decision. He lowered his ERA to 2.98. Shaun Marcum pitched amazing too.

Texas at Seattle
Justin Smoak went 3-for-4 with a home run. He’s hitting .315 with five homers and 20 RBI. Jason Vargas gave up one run on six hits in 7-2/3 innings for the win. Colby Lewis gave up three runs in eight innings with 11 strikeouts, but took the loss.

Colorado at Arizona
Dexter Fowler went 3-for-4. Gerardo Parra went 2-for-5 with a home run. Jason Hammel gave up four hits in seven scoreless innings. Ian Kennedy gave up two runs with five strikeouts in six innings. Neither starter factored into the decision.
