Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-3 with three runs, a homer (5), two RBI (17) and a stolen base. Shelley Duncan went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Austin Jackson went 2-for-5. Ryan Raburn also went 2-for-5 with a run. Alex Avila went 2-for-2 with two RBI (18).

Laynce Nix went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. He’s hitting .314. Ian Desmond went 3-for-3 with a run and his ninth stolen base. Aaron Rowand went 2-for-4 to raise his average to .296. Jason Marquis threw a five-hit shutout. He struck out seven as he improved to 3-0 with a 2.62 ERA.
New York Mets at Philadelphia
Placido Polanco went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI (18) as he improved his average to .390. Ben Francisco went 2-for-4 with two RBI (18) and a stolen base. He’s hitting .272. Jason Pridie went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Vance Morley gave up two hits with five strikeouts in six scoreless innings for the win.
Seattle at Boston
Chone Figgins continues to heat up. He went 2-for-4 with two runs. Mike Cameron went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs.
Florida at Cincinnati
Emilio Bonifacio went 2-for-5 with two runs to improve his average to .323. Gaby Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a run to raise his average to .303. John Buck went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI (12). Jeremy Hermida went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.
Los Angeles Angels at Tampa Bay
Alberto Callaspo went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI to raise his average to .303. Mark Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI (13). Matt Joyce went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. He’s hitting .311. Casey Kotchman went 2-for-4 with an RBI to raise his average to .350. John Jason went 2-for-3.
St. Louis at Atlanta
Nick Punto drove in two runs. Yadier Molina went 2-for-3 to raise his average to .289. Ryan Theriot went 2-for-4 with a run to raise his average to .319. Nate McLouth went 2-for-4 with a home run.
Milwaukee at Houston
Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder did the damage on offense. Shaun Marcum struck out six in seven scoreless innings for the win. Brett Wallace went 2-for-2 to raise his average to .388 before hurting his hip.
Baltimore at Chicago White Sox
Luke Scott went 1-for-4 with two runs and a homer. Matt Wieters went 2-for-5 with two runs, a home run and four RBI (16). Robert Andino went 3-for-4 with a run. A.J. Pierzynski went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
Minnesota at Kansas City
Alex Gordon went 2-for-3 to raise his average to .337. Kila Ka’aihue went 2-for-4. Brayan Pena went 2-for-3 with a run. Jason Kubel went 2-for-4 with a run to raise his average to .341. Danny Valencia went 2-for-4 with two RBI (13). Scott Baker gave up two runs in 6.3 innings, but got a no-decision.
Pittsburgh at Colorado
Garrett Jones went 2-for-4 with his fifth home run. Kevin Correia gave up three hits in 6.6 scoreless innings to improve to 4-2 with a 2.90 ERA.
Chicago Cubs at Arizona
Jeff Baker went 2-for-3 to raise his average to .392. Melvin Mora went 2-for-4 to raise his average to .289. Carlos Zambrano gave up two runs on four hits over six innings to improve to 3-1.
Texas at Oakland
Conor Jackson went 2-for-3 with a run to raise his average to .280. Josh Willingham went 2-for-4 with an RBI (14).
San Diego at Los Angeles Dodgers
Juan Uribe went 2-for-4 with a home run. Rod Barajas also went 2-for-4. Aaron Miles went 3-for-4. Chase Headley went 2-for-4 with a run. Ted Lilly, yesterday’s streaming pitcher option, gave up one run on five hits in six innings.
