Toronto Maple Leafs Ticket Prices Out of Conrol
As the Formula One and de facto Red Bull Air Race community leader, I tend to follow these sports more often than I do the beloved Leafs of the city I live in.
As much as I would love to attend a Formula One race or another Red Bull Air Race (done in June), I would also love to go to the ACC and watch the Buds play.
I would love to go to a game where I can watch the guys whom I watch on Hockey Night in Canada play in person and get the full stadium atmosphere. There were those free tickets with Coca Cola, but I was a little too late.

Unfortunately, as a fan, I just don't have the finances to pay for one night of yelling my lungs out, cheering, and just getting an emotional high.
This year, Leafs Nation was told to not expect much out of their beloved Buds, and with that, my thoughts asked, "if the Leafs' aren't going to be great this year, can the real fans get a chance to see a game at the ACC?"
I checked the official Toronto Maple Leafs page, and found ticket prices to be around $200 each for a seat on the second level for the game against the Anaheim Ducks!
It's disheartening that the average fan can't go to a game because the price of that privilege is reserved for business-types and their clients, many of whom don't really care for the game and are just either looking for a potential new client or trying to hammer out a deal.
A shame, it really is. I hope that MLSE is reading this. We have a team who can't do well, so make the ticket prices cheaper so that the average Joe can bring his son/daughter over to watch their heroes play.
And I thought that Formula One and Red Bull Air Race were exclusive...
