Are we booing Ashley Cole the football player or the personality ?

In July I was sitting by a swimming pool in Malta reading my cousins book which happened to be Ashley Cole's autobiography because I did not feel like reading the wife's book about Katie Price, aka Jordan.

I picked this book up waiting to criticise this overpaid, big-headed, moronic figure that he was made out to be in the press, especially as he had just been slammed by every paper, woman and man regarding his misdemeanor's in his married life.

Dont get me wrong, I am still not his biggest fan but once you have read the book you do have a different take on his falling out with Arsenal that the press put down to Cole moaning that he has only been offered £50k to stay with his boyhood club.

Lets get out of the "all footballers are paid to much money and we should pay firemen, nurses and soldiers that kind of money".

Put yourself in to the mind of a footballer that has been promised by a key figure at Arsenal ( Mr David Dein )a salary of £65,000 only then to be offered £50k when it actually came to sealing the deal.

Whether he was offered £50k is irrelevant, it is the same as me being offered £3,000 a month to my boss who then puts in writing £1500 when push comes to shove.

I think the England morons that booed Cole were sitting there waiting for the overpaid, don't know how lucky he is, turned his back on the gooners fulback and any mistake he would have made they would have seized their opportunity.

You truly wonder if the fans were of any of the top four teams simply because they have better things to do and watch .

Football would be better off not to let these morons in, but with the FA needing to sell as many tickets and make back as much money as they can to pay for the White Horse which is Wembley they can't be that fussy.
