NFL Draft 2011: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Grab Adrian Clayborn
Adrian Clayborn.
The newest Tampa Bay Buccaneer is a big body at 6'4", 285 lbs. He's a run-stopper, he's a defensive end with great hands, more of a bull-rush kinda guy. He's not the prototypical edge rusher.
With the 20th pick in the first round, he became a Buccaneer just before 10:30 Thursday night.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He was the fifth defensive end taken and the Bucs came within one pick of getting cornerback Prince Amukamura, who went 19th to the Giants.
The Bucs passed on Cam Jordan of Cal, a player who visited One Buccaneer Place, a player who Raheem Morris said he really liked.
Things played out well for the Bucs Thursday night. A big run on quarterbacks helped them with four going in the first 12 picks.
Aldon Smith of Missouri was the first defensive end to go, seventh overall to San Francisco. Then J.J. Watt of Wisconsin went 11th overall to Houston. Robert Quinn was next, the North Carolina player went 14th to the Rams. Ryan Kerrigan of Purdue was picked by many draft experts as the player Tampa Bay would get. He went 16th to the Redskins, who traded out of the 10th spot with Jacksonville.
The Bucs also passed on Da'Quan Bowers and both the big offensive tackles, Anthony Castonzo of Boston College and Gabe Carimi of Wisconsin.
Clayborn fits a big need. He is a player with great balance who can shed blockers, he extends his arms well and can flat out push an offensive lineman out of his way.
He fills a big need.
