Here’s a look at the unheralded fantasy baseball players who played well yesterday.



Boston @ Baltimore

Derrek Lee went 2-for-5 with two runs. Luke Scott went 2-for-3 with a run. Matt Wieters went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Zach Britton gave up one run on five hits in six innings to improve to 4-1 with a 2.84 ERA.

Kansas City @ Cleveland

Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-4 with a run. Matt LaPorta went 1-for-3 with two runs and a homer. Jack Hannahan went 3-for-4 with three runs and two homers. He’s hitting .286. Melky Cabrera went 3-for-4 with two runs, a home run and two RBI to raise his average to .301. Justin Masterson improved to 5-0 with a 2.18 ERA after giving up three runs on five hits in 6.2 innings. He struck out seven.



Seattle @ Detroit

Miguel Olivo went 2-for-4 with two runs and a home run. Justin Smoak went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. He’s hitting .288. Brandon Inge went 1-for-3 with two RBI.



Chicago White Sox @ New York Yankees

Gavin Floyd gave up two runs on four hits with 10 strikeouts over eight innings to improve to 3-1 with a 3.60 ERA. Ivan Nova gave up one run in 6.1 innings but got a no-decision.



New York Mets @ Washington

Daniel Murphy raised his average to .288 by going 2-for-4 with a run. Josh Thole went 1-for-4 with three RBI. Jason Pridie went 2-for-4 with a run. Wilson Ramos went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI. He’s hitting .378. Jerry Hairston Jr. went 2-for-4.



Los Angeles Dodgers @ Florida

James Loney went 4-for-4. Chris Volstad gave up two runs with five strikeouts in seven innings to earn the win.



Toronto @ Texas

Corey Patterson went 2-for-5 with two runs. Juan Rivera went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Yorvit Torrealba is hitting .292 after going 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI.



Cincinnati @ Milwaukee

Yuniesky Betancourt went 2-for-3. Marco Estrada (five Ks) and Mike Leake (six Ks) each gave up two runs in seven innings but did not factor into the decision.



Colorado @ Chicago Cubs

Jonathan Herrera went 2-for-5 to raise his average to .317. Todd Helton turned back the clock with a 2-for-5, two-homer performance. Ty Wigginton went 3-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base. Darwin Barney went 2-for-4 with a run to raise his average to .329. Jeff Baker is hitting .409 after going 2-for-4 with an RBI. Jorge De La Rosa gave up one earned run with nine strikeouts in seven innings to improve to 4-0 with a 2.61 ERA.



San Francisco @ Pittsburgh

Aaron Rowand went 2-for-4 with a run to raise his average to .290. Freddy Sanchez is hitting .295 after going 2-for-5 with an RBI. Charlie Morton gave up one run on four hits with six strikeouts in six innings but got a no-decision.



St. Louis @ Houston

Angel Sanchez went 2-for-4 with a run. He’s hitting .300. Brett Wallace went 3-for-4 with an RBI to raise his average to .347. Chris Johnson went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Yadier Molina went 2-for-4 with two runs to raise his average to .290. Daniel Descalso went 3-for-3 with three RBI. Bud Norris gave up three unearned runs with six strikeouts in six innings but got a no-decision.



Philadelphia @ Arizona

Kelly Johnson went 2-for-4 with two runs. Ryan Roberts went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI (15) to raise his average to .333. Ben Francisco went 2-for-5 with two runs, a home run and two RBI.



Atlanta @ San Diego

Chipper Jones went 2-for-5 with two runs, a home run and two RBI (18). Alex Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI. David Ross went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI. Ryan Ludwick went 2-for-4. Jorge Cantu went 2-for-4 with a run. Jair Jurrjens threw a complete game.



Oakland @ Los Angeles Angels

Erick Aybar went 2-for-5 with a stolen base to raise his average to .350. Howie Kendrick went 3-for-4 with three runs to raise his average to .292. Hank Conger went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI. Peter Bourjos went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Alexi Amarista went 1-for-3 with three RBI. Conor Jackson went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
