Moving Today's Market Thursday night, the Phillies had a three-run sixth inning to take Game 1 of the NLCS against the Dodgers. Now these two teams play in a matinee before heading west for Game 3 Sunday in Los Angeles. Brett Myers (10-13, 4.55 ERA) takes the mound for the Phillies against Chad Billingsley (16-10, 3.14 ERA). The Dodgers opened at -108 with Pinnacle, and Los Angeles is slightly favored at -105. The public is backing Los Angeles as they have received 54 percent of the money line wagers, but there is more money on Philadelphia. The public is also backing the Rays in tonight's ALCS. The line at Pinnacle opened at -106 and is now at -122 after a Steam Move was triggered at Pinnacle (+22.6 units). James Shields starts for the Rays after winning his first career postseason start in Game 1 of the ALCS. He yielded a three-run home run in the third inning, but the bullpen was able to hold on to the win. Shields is 2-2 with a 5.85 ERA this season against the Red Sox. Kevin Youkilis is 0-for-17 in his career against Shields, Jason Varitek is 1-for-10 with five strikeouts and Jacoby Ellsbury is 1-for-10 this season against him. The bright spot for the Red Sox is Daisuke Matsuzaka's road success. He is 9-0, including Boston's only win in nine tries at Tropicana Field. Baseball is not the only sport in action tonight. Louisville visits Memphis in a non-conference showdown on a Friday night. The line at Pinnacle opened with Louisville -6.5, and is back at -6.5 after climbing to -7 a few days ago, before going all the way down to -6 this morning. It came back to -6.5 after a Steam move was triggered at 5Dimes (+4.1 units) for Louisville. There have been two Steam Moves on Memphis at 5Dimes (+4.1 units) and BetJamaica (+13.4 units), and one Smart Money play. Also, it's opening night for some teams in the NHL and there have been some alerts triggered.
