Yankees Might Take a Shot At K-Rod?

The Mets might not be the only one looking at K-Rod...

Through an undisclosed source, the Yankees will make an attempt to sign Angels closer Francisco Rodriguez. The Yankees have fear that Mariano Rivera will not bounce back from surgery and his age is becoming the main factor.

Rivera pitched great this year, but many in the Yankee organization think that he is being overused at his age. They want to limit his appearances and give someone younger the work load.

As far as Joba Chamberlain, no one knows what is to become of the young pitcher. The wear on his arm might limit him in the future. The Yankees will be careful with him and see how he progresses..
