Wilson Valdez is hitting .355 after going 2-for-4 with a run. Livan Hernandez gave up one run with six strikeouts in 6.2 innings to even his record at 1-1 and lower his ERA to 3.50.

Alberto Gonzalez went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Seth LeCure gave up one run on one hit with eight strikeouts in six innings. Clayton Richard gave up one earned run on five hits in 7.2 innings. Neither starter factored into the decision.



Los Angeles Dodgers @ San Francisco Giants

Aaron Rowand went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.
