Philadelphia Phillies @ Washington Nationals

Wilson Ramos went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI to raise his average to .450. Laynce Nix went 2-for-4 with a run. Placido Polanco remained hot, going 2-for-5 with an RBI. He’s hitting .349. Wilson Valdez is hitting .355 after going 2-for-4 with a run. Livan Hernandez gave up one run with six strikeouts in 6.2 innings to even his record at 1-1 and lower his ERA to 3.50.

Florida Marlins @ Atlanta Braves

Martin Prado is hitting .298 after going 2-for-4 with two runs. Chipper Jones went 1-for-2 with a pair of RBI. He’s hitting .308. Chris Coghlan went 2-for-4.

Tampa Bay Rays @ Boston Red Sox

Johnny Damon went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base. Dan Johnson went 2-for-3 with a run. Jed Lowrie went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Chicago Cubs @ Houston Astros

Angel Sanchez went 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. Humberto Quintero went 3-for-3 with two runs. Marlon Byrd went 3-for-3 to raise his average to .391. Tyler Colvin went 2-for-4 with a home run.

Kansas City Royals @ Minnesota Twins

Michael Cuddyer went 4-for-4 with a run. Jason Kubel went 2-for-5 with a run to raise his average to .314. Luke Hughes went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Wilson Betemit went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Oakland A’s @ Chicago White Sox

Toronto Blue Jays @ Seattle Mariners

Ryan Langerhans hit a two-run homer. Corey Patterson was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base. Michael Pineda gave up one earned run on five hits with seven strikeouts in 7.1 innings for the win.

Cincinnati Reds @ San Diego Padres

Drew Stubbs was 2-for-6 with a home run and four RBI. Jonny Gomes was 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Orlando Hudson went 2-for-5 to raise his average to .324. Nick Hundley went 1-for-3 with two runs. Alberto Gonzalez went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Seth LeCure gave up one run on one hit with eight strikeouts in six innings. Clayton Richard gave up one earned run on five hits in 7.2 innings. Neither starter factored into the decision.

Los Angeles Dodgers @ San Francisco Giants
