WWE WrestleMania 27: Who Will Be the Worst Five Performers at WrestleMania?

Hey bleachers! Once I’d done my article on who will be the top five performers at WrestleMania, which I will link to here, I realised it would only be fair to list who will be the five worst performers at WrestleMania.

With just under 10 matches on the card, there are bound to be Superstars who don’t live up to expectation. 

Again, bear with me as I explain to you the reasoning behind my choices. I have done this for fun and to see who you think will be the worst five.

05. Jerry Lawler

Jerry Lawler is on this list because of Michael Cole. Jerry Lawler used to be one of the best in the business, don’t get me wrong, and he showed he can still perform well when he battled The Miz in a TLC match.

However, if you compare him to the Superstars on the WrestleMania card, that explains the reason he is on here—he won’t match their quality.

Trying to make Cole look good in the process won’t help, as it will place extra strain on his performance.

A combination of this and the inclusion of high-ranking Superstars is the reason Lawler is on this list.

04. Ezekiel Jackson

What does he do? I haven’t seen him wrestle for more than two minutes since I have been writing for Bleacher Report.

He is a big guy who as far as I know does not possess a large repertoire of moves and will likely just steamroll the opposition, showing little skill in the process. This is the reason Ezekiel is on here.

He doesn’t have star quality, in my opinion, and his promos are a bit weak (if he cuts one at WrestleMania)

He is mainly there to support the other Superstars in The Corre, which is fair enough—but don’t expect a stellar performance from the big man.

03. Vladimir Kozlov

Vladimir Kozlov is on here due to the fact that he uses the same three moves every time he wrestles with Santino. Before you say “Cena always uses the same moves as well,” that isn’t all he uses—Cena can also wrestle.

Kozlov can also wrestle, but he hasn’t shown it since he was dropped from his push at the end of 2009.

He will be outshined by Santino, who has the crowd on his side and shows a variety of wrestling holds when he steps in the ring.

Kozlov will be overshadowed by Kane and Big Show and will not have a lot to do in his match against The Corre.

Maybe he and Ezekiel can sit at ringside and chat?

02. LayCool

LayCool are far from being the best Divas in the company. Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix are at the top of the league when it comes to women's wrestling—yet they are nowhere to be seen on the WrestleMania card.

Layla and Michelle McCool are in a match against Trish Stratus, which will bring them down even more, as Trish will completely outshine them with her vast amount of experience as a top Diva.

The fact that everyone wants LayCool to break up doesn’t help, and if they give a promo like they did on SmackDown the other week, then they fully deserve to be on this list.

Don’t expect a vast amount of action from these two and don’t expect them to impress. I hope I’m wrong.

01. Michael Cole

Michael Cole has never wrestled in a match before and is greener than grass when it comes to competing.

Jerry Lawler will have a hell of a job trying to make him look good, and I think any attempt to do so will be futile.

Expect his ring work to be sloppy and slow, and expect it to bring Jerry Lawler’s performance down.

The fact that he has a good spot on a WrestleMania card without any wrestling experience would make a lot of struggling wrestlers sick to their stomachs.

I definitely think Cole will be the worst performer of the night, simply because of the lack of in-ring ability I expect him to have, and the fact that he overexaggerates his persona.

So there you have it. Another short WrestleMania slideshow to whet your appetite for Sunday.
